Meeting with Emmaüs International
The mandate exchanges proposals for cooperation with Emmaüs International to keep poverty at the centre of international debates and strengthen rights.
On 7 September 2026, the mandate took part in a meeting with Emmaüs International, a movement bringing together people who have experienced exclusion and others who work with them to build responses to injustice.
Participants included its President, Carina Aaltonen, and colleagues Adrien Chaboche and Anaïs Gournay. The discussion explored forms of collaboration to keep poverty at the centre of international debates and strengthen the rights of people living in poverty.
