Meetings with international organisations and institutions
The Special Rapporteur gathers perspectives on extreme poverty, human rights and cooperation from UNECE, HIC and IDSN.
On 24 August 2026, the Special Rapporteur held a series of working meetings with representatives of international organisations and institutions to gather information and perspectives relevant to the development of her mandate.
The meetings included exchanges with the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), the Habitat International Coalition (HIC) and the International Dalit Solidarity Network (IDSN).
The discussions addressed different dimensions of extreme poverty and human rights protection, while bringing experiences, challenges and proposals from institutional and civil society perspectives into international debates on poverty eradication.
