A visit to two exhibitions on the democratic legacy of Gregorio Peces-Barba and the 1994 Declaration of La Laguna.
As part of the course on Democracy and Human Rights, the Special Rapporteur visited two exhibitions linking democratic memory, human rights and intergenerational responsibility.
Democratic legacy and the rights of the future
The first visit focused on the Gregorio Peces-Barba Legacy Archive exhibition, The voice of democracy and human rights. The second explored the exhibition on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of Future Generations, adopted in La Laguna in 1994.
